This tour takes place in one of the most beautiful spots in Costa Rica:
Monteverde. Quaker farmers from Alabama
found out about it and settled in this gorgeous area called Monteverde this
location is worldwide known for its spectacular views and landscapes, coffee
plantations and one of the most exciting birds in the world: the well known
QUETZAL. Once we arrive in Monteverde, we do the first activity
Canopy tour
We get ready for the canopy ride. Fifteen cables and eighteen platforms
and the ¨Tarzan Swing¨ will be part of this exhilarating adventure, Them we
wear a rock climbing harness, helmet, safety lines and special gloves, high enough
to be airborne above the cloud forest. I will be the best ride of your life!
Then we go for lunch, relax and take off for next activity.
The sky walk
It is composed of nine suspension bridges above the treetops and ground
level where you can feel the mist in your face along with different kinds of
ferns, orchids, massive trees and the surrounding songs of several species of
birds.
Hummingbird & Butterfly Garden
A knowledgeable guide will give you a briefing on the insects and a
large number of butterflies. You will have a great time by learning about this
unique and complex world. You will see why Monteverde is considered ´THE VIRGIN
CLOUD FOREST COSTA RICA¨.
